Wanted – CDL INSTRUCTORS to Write About Trucking Industry

Are you a CDL instructor or trainer with a passion for the trucking industry? Do you enjoy helping new drivers learn the ins and outs of trucking? Do you work for a trucking school and love to write or share your knowledge?

IB Publishing is seeking CDL instructors and truck driver trainers to write and contribute to informative articles for new and experienced truck drivers. These articles will include a fair amount of specific terminology and must provide accurate information on everything from OTR driving to CDL schooling. We are also looking for CDL instructors to share their deep knowledge with our online community of truck drivers and aspiring truck drivers.

This is a 100% freelance, telecommuting position. Assignments and submissions are all handled through our online system. All you need is a computer, internet access, and the knowledge that comes from a being a CDL instructor. If you choose to write articles for us, you can expect these assignments to cover a variety topics, like “How to Get a Military Skills Waiver for CDL,” “10 Critical Tips for OTR Truck Driving,” and “What are DOT Physicals for Truck Drivers?” Other articles may include reviews and general information pieces.

Writers are also eligible for positions to review and edit existing articles. These editor positions require a keen eye for technical detail and the knowledge that comes with being an experienced CDL instructor. Help us make our articles even better!

Requirements Include:

• CDL Instructor or trainer
• Ability to write in a professional, authoritative tone while still injecting the appropriate level of personality.
• Experience with truck driving terminology and the truck driving industry.
• A genuine enthusiasm for trucking and the desire to help new truck drivers.

We are looking to build relationships with CDL Instructors that we can hire for multiple assignments.

Payment is $25-50 per assignment, depending on quality of output. Some in-depth assignments will pay more. Editing/review assignments pay $15-30, depending on level of input and expertise. Assistance with online forums or other research is paid depending on assignment.
