Here's What We're Looking For

Nolo, in partnership with Martindale-Hubbell, seeks writers to update articles about personal injury and related areas of law. Writers must have a J.D. or relevant legal training and experience. This work requires the ability to read and understand statutes and translate them into plain English for a general audience.

This is a 100% freelance, telecommuting position. Assignments, writing, editing, and submissions are all handled through our online system. All you need is a computer, Internet access, and the ability to deliver clean, accurate work.

Requirements include:

• A J.D. or relevant legal training and experience.
• Aptitude for parsing cases, statutes, and secondary sources.
• Strong research and fact checking skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to providing accurate information.
• No professional disciplinary history.
